Jewelry Care

At Majoral, we like to experiment with metals, understand their possibilities, their limits, and observe their reaction to different elements. Therefore, most of our collections feature different finishes on the metal: matte, frosted, textured, painted, oxidized... These undoubtedly give the jewelry a special, avant-garde, and fresh character, a language of its own, although they also require specific care.

In this sense, we want to help ensure that your Majoral jewelry always looks impeccable, with this simple care guide that you can easily follow at home.

General Rules

Store jewelry separately in a suitable place, ensuring pieces don't rub against each other, especially jewelry with diamonds.

For pearls, corals, and turquoise, it's advisable to gently clean their surface with cotton before placing them in your jewelry box.

At least once a year, it's recommended to take our small treasures to the workshop for a deeper cleaning.

Matte Finish

Moisten the jewelry with water, apply baking soda to the surface, and rub with your fingers or a small brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. You can also perform this operation with dish soap, achieving an almost identical effect.

Polished Finish

In this case, you can use cloths impregnated with silver cleaner or any other commercial product for this type of metal.

Gold Jewelry

You can follow the same process as with matte-finished silver jewelry, we just need to take special care if the piece has any type of stone. We'll be especially careful if our jewelry has pearls, corals, and turquoise; in this case, it's better not to apply any product and trust our jewelry to a specialized workshop.
